Rebecca Is an Atlanta based Hair and Makeup artist specializing in character design and Special FX makeup.
From a young age, Rebecca took a love to all things art. In her own words, “I picked up a brush when I was three and never put it down”. It was this passion and love for the arts that would help her transition into the world of makeup.
Rebecca Eventually found her way into the world of theater where she participated on and off the stage for most of her life until finding her true passion running the hair and makeup department for various theaters she performed at. This led her to pursue a career in theatrical arts specializing in wig and makeup design and application. She landed an internship at the MUNY in St. Louis where she met Broadway Wig and Makeup Designer Leah. J. Loukas, who took her to NYC as her apprentice.
From there she has worked with various wig and makeup designers assisting, building, and running shows for. Some of her past shows include “Escape to Margaritaville” (Leah J. Loukas), “School of Rock” (Josh Marquette), and “The book of Mormon“ (Josh Marquette)
After four years of working on and off Broadway, she decided to continue her education at the Makeup Designory (M.U.D) in NYC where she completed 812 hours of the master’s program. During her time at M.U.D she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion shoots and a range of characters.
Rebecca looks forward to continuing to pursue her love of hair and makeup while refining her skills as both an Special FX artist and a character designer.
